How to I increase my power for my lifts and just shots in general? My lifts are sometimes too weak and lead to a net kill or my smash and backhand clears aren’t good enough to end the game. I’m using the right grips and know footwork.

simply by increasing your wrist power through training, and also to note that most shots will be played without too much shoulder movement, just forearm pronation and supination. big movement cannot generate efficient power. short contraction from loose to tightening the grip, and also moving the arm in a snapping motion is what generates power/speed. Badminton like most sports are not about power…it’s always about the technique.
